Dream - Nunung reveals that her condition has improved after undergoing breast cancer removal surgery which she has been suffering from since early 2023.

"Alhamdulillah, I'm feeling a little better," said Nunung Srimulat in a video sent to the media on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.

Nunung admitted to feeling nervous before the surgery. She was afraid that the operation wouldn't go smoothly. "But well, from the beginning, I have surrendered and accepted it," said Nunung Srimulat.

Nunung hopes that her condition will improve quickly so that she can go home and resume her normal activities. "Hopefully, I can get better soon, go home faster, and resume my activities," said Nunung.

Dream - Nunung Srimulat admits that her condition is much better after undergoing several rounds of chemotherapy to cure her breast cancer.

"Alhamdulillah, it was supposed to be six rounds of chemo, but after three rounds, they wanted to remove it," said Nunung Srimulat in South Jakarta on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

Nunung admitted to feeling pain during the chemotherapy process. She felt tortured because her bones hurt.

"When my bones were hit, all of them felt like detaching from my flesh," said Nunung.

According to Nunung, recovering from her illness requires a tough struggle, including relieving the pain after chemotherapy.

"During chemo, they didn't give me any medicine at all. So when my bones hurt after chemo, the doctor prescribed something for me. But it didn't have any effect," said Nunung.

Fortunately, in such a painful condition, Nunung had a busy work schedule. This allowed her to divert her attention and forget about the pain a little bit.

"I'm happy with my work, even though when I arrive home, the pain returns. But because I'm tired and sleepy, I enjoy it," she said.

With her condition improving, Nunung plans to undergo breast cancer removal surgery next week.

Nunung Srimulat Faces Another Test, Underestimates Small Lump Near Armpit Turns Out to Be Breast Cancer

Dream - Senior comedian Nunung was shocked to hear news about her health condition. Admitting to being quite careless when it comes to checking her health, Nunung was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Nunung, whose real name is Tri Retno Prayudati, was even more surprised when the doctor said that the cancer had been present in her body for a long time.

"Actually, I thought it was just a regular lump, because it didn't bother me all this time," said Nunung as quoted from MOP Channel's YouTube channel on Thursday, February 2, 2023.

Over time, Nunung continued, the small lump grew and slowly started to interfere with her activities. Nunung often felt pain because of the lump.

"At first, I ignored it, but it started to bother me. It grew bigger in my armpit to the point where I couldn't even carry a bag anymore," she said.

Since experiencing these complaints, Nunung finally mustered the courage to tell her husband about her health condition. Eventually, Nunung decided to get herself checked at the hospital.

The suspicions that she had ignored all this time turned out to be true. The doctor confirmed that the lump in Nunung's armpit was a cancerous tumor. The medical team's conviction grew stronger because one of Nunung's family members also had a history of breast cancer.

"I had a suspicion because there's a genetic cancer history in my family, my mother, father, and sister have the same thing as me," said Nunung.

From the examination results, it was found that the size of the lump believed to be breast cancer in Nunung's body was already 2 cm.

"Finally, the doctor kept checking and suspected it because of the family history, so I had to undergo an ultrasound and mammography first. After that, they confirmed that the lump was already 2 cm," she said.
