Ups and Downs of Unang Bagito, Bankrupt Left by Wife Sleeping in Warehouse

Dream - Unang tells the story of his past at the beginning of his career with the comedy group Bagito. He joined Bagito before having anything, until finally able to accumulate wealth.

"I used to have assets like houses, rental properties, luxury vehicles, I could enjoy them from being poor, God gave me such amazing blessings," said Unang Bagito quoted from YouTube Kasisolusi, Thursday, June 15, 2023. 

However, Unang admitted that he was not grateful when he obtained fame and wealth. He even said that he faced trials in the form of women. This 60-year-old man admitted that he secretly got married for the second time without his wife's knowledge.

After secretly marrying for the second time, Unang faced many trials that caused his life to deteriorate.

"This is the beginning of my downfall, I felt ungrateful at that time. Eventually, many things happened, I ended up separating from my second wife and now I'm still with my first wife," said Unang.

According to a man named Suhardi Prabowo Sariunang Kardiman Suwardi Wibowo, almost all of his assets were depleted, from houses to cars.

"At the time when I was down, I really didn't have anything, materially completely empty, no car, no house," said Unang.

He could only afford to rent a warehouse for shelter.

"At that time, I rented a warehouse with two boys. So I just went along with it," he said.

After hitting rock bottom, Unang tried to rise. He struggled to rebuild his career from scratch and managed to survive until now.

"I keep fighting to cope with how difficult life is. When things got tough, my wife eventually asked for a separation, so I gave her what she wanted," Unang said while crying.

Now Unang is getting closer to the Creator. He believes that the only help comes from being close to the Almighty.

"That's why we shouldn't rely on humans but on Allah," he said.
