Dream - Syawal is one of the most special months in Islam. In this month, there is a moment of Eid al-Fitr or lebaran which marks the end of the month of Ramadan. During this Eid al-Fitr moment, Muslims usually perform various traditions. For example, in Indonesia, Muslims go back to their hometowns. This is done in order to celebrate Eid al-Fitr together with family and relatives in their hometown. Later on, they will also visit each other's houses together while asking for forgiveness.

As explained in the book Hasyiyatul Bujairimi 'alal Khatib (III/272) by Sheikh Sulaiman al-Bujairami, the benefit of maintaining family ties is that it can bring the pleasure of Allah SWT, especially if done in the month of Syawal. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once said: "Whoever wants his life to be prolonged, his sustenance to be expanded, and to be kept away from a bad death, then he should fear Allah and maintain silaturahmi." The moment of togetherness during Eid truly leaves a deep impression. Moreover, this gathering is usually done by those who rarely meet in their daily lives, or even never meet for a long period of time. Therefore, during Eid al-Fitr, it brings them together and creates a good impression among fellow Muslims. Another benefit of silaturahmi in the month of Syawal is to gain rewards. This is as explained in Surah Az-Zumar verse 10: "Say: O My servants who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world is good, and the earth of Allah is spacious. Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account."

Through silaturahmi, this can be a moment to expand the bond of brotherhood. As conveyed by Abdurrahman bin Auf, Allah SWT said: "I have created the womb and have given it a name from My names.
