Dream - Syawal is one of the most special months in Islam. In this month, there is a moment of Eid al-Fitr or lebaran which marks the end of the month of Ramadan. During this Eid al-Fitr moment, Muslims usually perform various traditions. For example, in Indonesia, Muslims go back to their hometowns. This is done in order to celebrate Eid al-Fitr together with family and relatives in their hometown. Later on, they will also visit each other's houses together while asking for forgiveness.

Because there are various benefits that can be obtained for the present time as well as in the future. Well, here are the benefits of fellowship in the month of Syawal as summarized by Dream through various sources."
"During the moment of Hari Raya Idul Fitri, Muslims will engage in silaturahmi, visiting from house to house. Here are several benefits that can be obtained:"
As explained in the book Hasyiyatul Bujairimi 'alal Khatib (III/272) by Sheikh Sulaiman al-Bujairami, the benefit of maintaining family ties is that it can bring the pleasure of Allah SWT, especially if done in the month of Syawal. Additionally, it is also explained in a hadith: "Whoever maintains family ties, I will maintain my mercy for him. And whoever severs family ties, I will sever my mercy for him." (Narrated by Tirmidzi & Ibnu Dawud)
The following is the translation of the given 'Bahasa' text to 'English' while preserving any html tags: "The benefits of gathering during the next Eid are expanded blessings from Allah SWT. The Prophet Muhammad once said: "Whoever wants their sustenance to be expanded and their lifespan to be prolonged, then they should maintain good relations with their relatives." (HR. Muslim) The sustenance mentioned here is not only wealth, but it can also be in the form of job opportunities, finding a life partner, and so on."
Performing silaturahmi in the month of Syawal can also bring blessings and longevity from Allah SWT. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once said: "Whoever wants his life to be prolonged, his sustenance to be expanded, and to be kept away from a bad death, then he should fear Allah and maintain silaturahmi." (HR. Al-Bazzar, Hakim)
The moment of togetherness during Eid truly leaves a deep impression. Moreover, this gathering is usually done by those who rarely meet in their daily lives, or even never meet for a long period of time. Therefore, during Eid al-Fitr, it brings them together and creates a good impression among fellow Muslims. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Silaturahmi is not about someone returning a gift or visit, but it is about nurturing what has been cut off." (Narrated by Bukhari)
Another benefit of silaturahmi in the month of Syawal is to gain rewards. This is as explained in Surah Az-Zumar verse 10: "Say: O My servants who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world is good, and the earth of Allah is spacious. Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account."
Through silaturahmi, this can be a moment to expand the bond of brotherhood. As conveyed by Abdurrahman bin Auf, Allah SWT said: "I have created the womb and have given it a name from My names. So, whoever maintains it, I will maintain it, and whoever severs it, I will sever it, and whoever establishes it, I will establish it." (HR. Ahmad, Abu Daud, Tirmidzi, and Hakim)
