Every human being will definitely not escape from sin. Whether it's a small sin or a big sin. Therefore, as long as we are still alive, we must repent a lot and do deeds that can eliminate sins. One of them is by saying 'bismillah' before doing activities. As explained in the following hadith: "Whoever reads the word bismillah, then not a single small sin is left." In a hadith it is explained: "If you stand up, then say the phrase 'bismillah', indeed if there are people who slander you, then the angels will prevent them from doing so." (HR. Muttafaq Alaih)

The last virtue of always reading 'bismillah' before doing activities is that it can bring blessings. One of the things that Muslims seek in this life is blessings from Allah SWT. Blessings are what will make life more peaceful, comfortable, meaningful, and even able to save in the hereafter. In a hadith it is explained: "Every important matter that is not started with the reading of bismillah, then the blessings of that deed will be cut off." (HR. Abu Daud)
