Dream - The month of Syaban is always utilized to the best of its ability by every Muslim. Especially when the time comes for the night of Nisfu Syaban, which is filled with abundant blessings from Allah SWT. Every Muslim has prepared themselves to seek rewards from Allah SWT. One way is by reciting the Nisfu Syaban prayer in congregation. The prayer is recited with sincere intentions and accompanied by other prayers, such as reciting Surah Yasin.

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) strongly encouraged Muslims to increase their worship, prayers, and good deeds on the night of Nisfu Syaban. The best time to recite the night prayer of Nisfu Syaban is between sunset and dawn on that night. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) once said, "Allah looks upon His servants on the night of the middle of the month of Syaban with love and compassion. Allah forgives all His servants except for those who associate partners with Him and those who harbor enmity." (Narrated by Ibn Majah)

The recommended prayers to be recited on the night of Nisfu Syaban include seeking forgiveness, increasing remembrance of Allah, reciting Surah Yasin, and performing the hajat prayer. Other recommended practices include giving charity, fasting, and worshiping with focus. The Prophet also encouraged increasing prayers, seeking forgiveness, and asking for forgiveness from Allah SWT. The night of Nisfu Syaban is a blessed and forgiving night, so it is very important for Muslims to increase their worship and prayers on that night in accordance with the guidance of the Prophet.

Tonight is a good moment to improve oneself and seek forgiveness. The practices that can be done tonight include increasing remembrance of Allah, seeking forgiveness, reading the Quran, and giving charity. The night of Nisfu Syaban is also a special time because on this night, Allah determines the fate of His servants for the next year. Therefore, praying and seeking forgiveness on this night is highly recommended.

Before reading the Nisfu Syaban prayer, it is recommended to read the Yasin letter first once with the intention of long life and read the Nisfu Syaban prayer once. The following is the reading of the Nisfu Syaban prayer in Arabic, Latin, and the meaning that is recited in congregation: اللَّهُمَّ يَا ذَا الْمَنِّ وَلَا يُمَنُّ عَلَيْكَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ يَا ذَا الطَّوْلِ وَالْإِنْعَامِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ ظَهِيرَ اللَّاجِينَ وَجَارَ الْمُسْتَجِيرِينَ وَمَأْمَنَ الْخَائِفِينَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ كُنْتَ كَتَبْتَنَا عِنْدَكَ فِي أُمِّ الْكِتَابِ أَشْقِيَاءَ أَوْ مَحْرُومِينَ أَوْ مُقْتَرِرِينَ عَلَيْنَا فِي الرِّزْقِ، فَامْحُ اللَّهُمَّ فِي أُمِّ الْكِتَابِ شَقَاوَتِنَا وَحَرَمَانَنَا وَاقْتَتَارَ رِزْقِنَا، وَاكْتُبْنَا عِنْدَكَ سَعَدَاءَ مَرْزُوقِينَ مُوَفَّقِينَ لِلْخَيْرَاتِ فَإِنَّكَ قُلْتَ وَقَوْلُكَ الْحَقُّ فِي كِتَابِكَ الْمُنْزَلِ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّكَ الْمُرْسَلِ: “يَمْحُو اللَّهُ مَا يَشَاءُ وَيُثْبِتُ وَعِنْدَهُ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ” وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Allāhumma yā dzal manni wa lā yumannu 'alaika yā dzal jalāli wal ikrām, yā dzat thauli wal in'ām, lā ilāha illā anta zhahral lājīna wa jāral mustajīrīna, wa ma'manal khā'ifīn. Allāhumma in kunta katabtanā 'indaka fī ummil kitābi asyqiyā'a au mahrūbīna au muqattarīna 'alaynā fir rizqi, famhullāhumma fī ummil kitābi syaqāwatanā, wa hirmānanā waqtitāra rizqinā, waktubnā 'indaka su'adā'a marzūqīna muwaffaqīna lil khairāt. Translation: O Allah, O Bestower of favors, who does not need any favors Himself, O Possessor of majesty and honor, O Owner of generosity and kindness, there is no deity except You. You are the refuge of the helpless and the shelter of the fearful. O Allah, if You have written for us in Your Book any hardship, deprivation, or predetermined provision, then erase it for us, O Allah, from Your Book, and grant us good health, security, and abundant provision. And write for us in Your Book a blessed and successful fate for performing good deeds.

Fa innaka qulta wa qaulukal haqq fī kitābikal munzali ‘ala lisāni nabiyyikal mursali “Yahmhullāhu mā yasyā’u wa yutsbitu wa ‘indahū ummul kitāb.” Wa shallallāhu ‘alā sayyidinā Muhammadin wa ‘alā ālihī wa shahbihī wa sallama, walhamdulillāhi rabbil ‘ālamīn. Translation: "Verily, you have said the truth in your revealed book, on the tongue of your sent prophet, 'Allah does what He wills, and He confirms and establishes it with the mother of the book.' And may Allah's blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his family and companions, and peace be upon them, and all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds."

There is no god but You, the strength of those who seek help, the refuge of those who seek refuge, and the safe haven of those who fear. My Lord, if You record me in Your Preserved Tablet as a wretched, cursed, or unfortunate person, or someone with limited sustenance, then erase from the Preserved Tablet my misfortune, curse, and limited sustenance. Record me in Your presence as a fortunate, abundant sustenance, and blessed person, and grant me the ability to do good deeds because You have said - while Your words are true - in Your book that was revealed through the speech of Your Messenger, Your envoy.
