The unfortunate pelican in this video is very lucky because a man in a boat happened to pass by and saw the problem that was occurring. The hungry bird tried to swallow what appeared to be a delicious fish dinner. Unfortunately, the bird may have overestimated the size of its throat, and the fish got stuck.

"We can tell how strong the fish was stuck by how difficult it was for the human to get it out. He twisted it and tried to pull it from several different angles but then found the problem. The fish still had a double-sided hook in its mouth and had already gone into the bird's throat. Thanks to the help of another human there, the fish was finally removed and both animals survived the ordeal!"
