Dream - Committing sins means violating the rules that Allah SWT has established for Muslims. These rules have been explained in the Al-Quran and the hadiths of the Prophet. Sins are divided into major and minor sins. Each sin has its own punishment or penalty. However, as faithful and obedient Muslims, we should always strive to avoid actions that bring about sin.

The reality of sin in Islam has several aspects that encompass the concept of sin, forgiveness, and individual responsibility for their actions. The main sources of authority in determining sin are the Quran, the holy book of Islam, and the Sunnah, which are the teachings and actions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) recorded in Hadiths. Both serve as the primary guidance for Muslims in determining what is considered a sin.

Sin in Islam is divided into two main categories, namely major sins (kabir) and minor sins (saghir). Major sins involve violations of major principles in Islam, such as shirk (associating partners with Allah), riba (usury or interest), and zina (adultery). Minor sins include smaller violations but still should be avoided. In Islam, rewards are given to those who are obedient and follow Allah's commands.

while punishment is given to those who violate His command. The punishment can be received in this world or in the hereafter, depending on Allah's policy.

They tend to engage in activities that are contrary to religious and moral rules. There are two types of wicked people, namely those who openly commit sins and those who commit sins in secret. An example of a wicked person who openly commits sins is a street criminal who openly commits criminal acts. On the other hand, an example of a wicked person who commits sins in secret is an office worker who engages in corruption or is busy with forbidden matters.

First, we must repent sincerely and wholeheartedly, without any intention of repeating the same sin. Second, we need to increase our repentance prayers earnestly, seeking forgiveness and the opportunity to improve ourselves. Third, we must fulfill the conditions of repentance, which include acknowledging our mistakes, regretting our actions, and resolving not to commit the same sin in the future.

Lastly, we need to increase remembrance (dzikir) and seeking forgiveness (istigfar) to Allah SWT, by remembering Him in every opportunity and consistently seeking His forgiveness. The procedure for sincere repentance (tobat nasuha) includes acknowledging sins, genuine remorse, intending not to repeat the sins, and improving oneself. In addition, increasing remembrance and seeking forgiveness can also be done by remembering Allah SWT in every opportunity and consistently seeking His forgiveness.

Tobat: Repentance: Repenting sincerely, which means regretting the sins that have been committed, resolving not to repeat those sins, and seeking forgiveness from Allah. Sholat: Prayer: Performing the five daily prayers consistently, as prayer can cleanse the minor sins that have been committed. Sedekah: Charity: Giving charity regularly to purify oneself from the minor sins that are sometimes done unknowingly.

Doing good to others: Performing good deeds towards fellow human beings, such as helping others, sharing blessings, and avoiding hurting others. Reading the Qur'an: Studying the Qur'an regularly because it can help cleanse the heart and mind from minor sins. To cleanse and erase sins that have been committed based on Islamic teachings, one can repent for those sins, apologize to those who have been hurt, and resolve not to repeat those sins.
