Dream - Chairman of the Student Council of SMAN 1 Cawas in Klaten Regency, Central Java, passed away after being thrown into a pool by his friends, Monday, July 8, 2024. The victim, with initials FN, allegedly died from stepping on an electric cable inside the pool.
Kapolsek Cawas, AKP Umar Mustofa, said that the incident began when the victim and his friends gathered to discuss sponsors for a student talent competition event scheduled to be held on July 25, 2024.
"\u201cOne of his friends found out that FN's birthday was on that day. So it was celebrated together. After having lunch and praying, it was planned to be thrown into the pool. But before being thrown into the pool, FN was covered in flour by his friends,\u201d"
said Umar, Tuesday July 9, 2024 reported from Radar Solo.

After FN's body is covered in flour, his friends then throw him into the pool. FN actually wanted to get out of the school pool.
Unfortunately, his foot accidentally stepped on the electric cable in the pool. FN complained to his friends that his foot was experiencing cramps.

"However, what happened at that time was that he was being electrocuted. This was known from one of his friends who was about to help FN. 'So there were three people (students) who went down to the pool to help FN. The first one was shocked, but managed to move to escape,' explained Umar."
"Then the friend asked to turn off the electricity. The second victim's friend went down to the pool until he had difficulty breathing. He was taken to the hospital. Only one person was treated at the hospital," he added. FN was taken to RSU Islam Cawas but his life could not be saved. The body was immediately taken to the funeral home in Cawas Village for burial."
Umar ensures that this case does not continue because the family has accepted the incident. "Basically, they do not want to proceed with the legal process and consider it a disaster," said Umar.
