Dream - Special Presidential Staff Coordinator, Ari Dwipayana, denied President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) promising the appointment of millions of civil servants (CPNS) if his son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, wins the 2024 Presidential Election.

Ari affirms that Jokowi has never associated the CPNS recruitment process with the victory of any presidential and vice-presidential candidate pair.
"There is no truth to the promises made by the President to regional officials, let alone linking the recruitment process of CPNS/CASN with the victory of certain candidates in the 2024 elections."

"He explained that the recruitment of CPNS/CASN is part of the long-standing Government policy designed by KemenPAN-RB to accelerate bureaucratic reform and achieve public services that have an impact on society. Therefore, Ari requested that the recruitment of CPNS not be linked to the 2024 Election."
"So (recruitment of CPNS/CASN) has no relation to the 2024 Elections."
He said.
According to him, Jokowi has openly stated that the government will open 2.3 million positions for the CASN in 2024. Ari ensures that there is no hidden agenda in the CASN recruitment. "So there is nothing being concealed regarding this policy," he said.
Gibran advances to Presidential Election 2024
As known, Jokowi's son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, joined as a vice presidential candidate alongside Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 Presidential Election.
The issue of the promise of appointing millions of civil servants (CPNS) began with the viral video of the Secretary of the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi, Muhammad Hasbi, who is allegedly campaigning for the number 2 candidate pair, Prabowo-Gibran.
