In 2015, a man named David Hole conducted a gold search in Maryborough Regional Park, Australia. By utilizing a metal detector, Hole discovered a red-colored stone with significant weight, hidden in yellow clay soil. He believed that the stone contained gold.

Hole tried various techniques, such as drilling, angle grinding, and stone sawing, to open his discovery. He even tried pouring acid on the object. However, the stone remained intact and undamaged even after being hammered with a sledgehammer.\u00a0

Unable to open the stone itself, Hole brought the object to the Melbourne Museum for identification. "I have seen many stones that people consider to be meteorites," said Henry to Channel 10 News. Henry has worked at the museum for 37 years and examined thousands of stones, and he found that only two of those thousands of stones were truly meteorites.
