"Dream - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) requested that the 2025 State Budget Draft (RAPBN) accommodate all programs of the elected president and elected vice president Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming. This was conveyed by Jokowi in his introductory remarks at the limited meeting (Ratas) regarding the government's work plan and the 2025 State Budget Draft (RAPBN)."
“Ladies and gentlemen, I respect, this morning we will talk about the RAPBN 2025 and I want this draft plan for the APBN 2025 to accommodate all the programs of the elected president,” said Jokowi opening the Limited Meeting at the Presidential Office, State Palace, Jakarta, Monday, August 5, 2024.
"In addition, Jokowi also reminded about the risks of a global economic slowdown. This includes geopolitical conflicts that can impact various aspects, including the economy. “But the most important thing is to be aware of the risks of a global economic slowdown, both related to interest rate policies and those related to the heating up of geopolitics that could lead to a food crisis and rising oil prices,” said Jokowi."
"Jokowi also requested to optimize steps to increase the target for state revenue.
“Here I want to emphasize the ease of investment, the ease for products related to exports,” he said."
"It is known that one of the flagship programs of the elected president is free lunch, which is currently better known as the free nutritious meal program. This program has been tested in several schools in various regions."
"Meanwhile, the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, Sri Mulyani, stated that the free nutritious meal program has been budgeted in the 2025 state budget (APBN). “The 2025 state budget accommodates priority programs that have been conveyed by the elected president's administration, so we are starting to calculate for the programs that are often mentioned, such as free nutritious meals, as well as several new initiative programs that are currently being finalized with the team from the elected president. This has already been included in the 2025 state budget structure,” said Sri Mulyani in her statement after the limited meeting on the government's work plan and the 2025 state budget draft."
"He said, in accordance with the directives from the current president as well as the elected president, the budget for the program amounts to Rp71 trillion."
“Until now, what we have received as direction from the current president and the elected president is that the total budget is Rp71 trillion, regarding the details later, the elected Mr. President will continue to prepare with his team for its implementation,” he said.
