Dream - Habib Hasan Jafar Umar Assegaf, also known as Habib Hasan, passed away today, Wednesday, March 13, 2024. The leader of Majelis Taklim Nurul Mustofa passed away at the age of 47. This news was announced by a representative of the Nurul Mustofa Taklim Assembly on Habib Hasan Jafar Umar Assegaf's official Instagram account.

"Innalillahi wa innalillahi rajiun, Al Habib Hasan Bin Umar Bin Jakfar Assegaf, the leader of Majelis Taklim Nurul Mustofa, has returned to the mercy of Allah," said one representative from the extended family, as quoted from Instagram @hassan_jafar_umar_assegaf. Habib Hasan passed away after performing the dhuha prayer at around 09.01 AM local time. However, the cause of Habib Hasan's death is still unknown.

"Insha Allah, he will be buried and laid to rest under his mother's feet tomorrow after zuhur," said a representative of the family. As seen on the Majelis Nurul Musthofa website, Habib Hasan was born on February 26, 1977 in Kramat Empang Bogor, West Java."

When he was young, Habib Hasan learned to recite the Quran to recognize letters from Syaikh Usman Baraja and in Arabic language from Syaikh Abdul Qodir Ba'salamah, in Nahwu and Shorof sciences from Syaikh Ahmad Bafadhol. Habib Hasan also studied with scholars and ulama in Jakarta with the kiai-kiai and Habaib. Habib Hasan then established Majelis Nurul Musthofa in 2000.
