Dream - Eating sahur is recommended in Islam for Muslims who are fasting. Especially in this blessed month of Ramadan. Although waking up in the middle of the night to consume food may be quite difficult, behind that difficulty there are various privileges that friends of Dream can obtain. One of those privileges is that the angels will send blessings to those who eat sahur. This has been explained in the following hadith:

There are many people who feel that waking up in the middle of the night to eat sahur is a difficult task. However, behind the difficulty of eating sahur, there is a blessing that friends of Dream can obtain. As explained in the following hadith: "Eat sahur because indeed, in sahur there is a blessing." (HR. Bukhari and Muslim)

Missing suhoor is a loss. Why is it a loss? Because Muslims who intend to fast and have suhoor first will be prayed for by the angels. As the Prophet Muhammad said: "Suhoor is a blessed meal. Therefore, do not leave it even if it's just a sip of water. Indeed, Allah and the angels send blessings upon those who have suhoor." (HR. Bukhari)

Eating sahur is what distinguishes between Muslims and the people of the book. Therefore, it is advisable not to miss sahur. In fact, during sahur time is the right moment to pray to Allah SWT. As mentioned in Surah Az-Zariyat verse 18: وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ. Meaning: "And in the hours before dawn they were (found) asking (Allah) for forgiveness." (QS: Az-Zariyat: 18)

"In the sentence in the hadith that says: 'So do not leave it even if one of you only drinks a sip of water.' This sentence means not to skip sahur, even if it is not possible for someone to do it, except if they only drink a little water for sahur. According to Syekh Ahmad 'Abdurrahman al-Banna, through that hadith:"

"The blessings of Allah upon them are His mercy towards them, while the blessings of the angels upon them are their prayers for forgiveness for them. Therefore, whoever does not have suhoor (pre-dawn meal), they are deprived of the mercy of Allah SWT and the prayers for forgiveness from the angels for them at that time."
