Dream - Former Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Rizal Ramli passed away today, Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) in Jakarta.
Rizal Ramli passed away at the age of 69 years. The news was spread by the Spokesperson of the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar National Winning Team (AMIN Team), Tofa Lemon.
"Innalillahi wa innailaihi rojiun. Bapak Rizal Ramli has passed away on January 2, 2024 at 19:30 WIB at RSCM,"
"According to Tofa in his statement quoted by Dream from Liputan.com, Tuesday, January 2, 2024."
Former Activist
It is known that Rizal Ramli is a former student activist who became an economic expert. Rizal also often holds executive positions. He is originally from Padang, West Sumatra.
"In the era of President Jokowi's administration, Rizal was trusted to serve as the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Resources of Indonesia from 2015 to 2016."
"Previously, Rizal served as the Head of Logistics Affairs Agency (Bulog) for the period of 2000-2001."
Then in the same year, Rizal also served as Minister of Economy, Finance, and Industry.
