Dream – Birrul walidain is an Arabic term that means being dutiful to both parents. In Islam, being dutiful to parents is an obligation for a child. Allah SWT and Prophet Muhammad SAW have commanded Muslims to be dutiful to their parents. Parents have shown love and everything to their children, so it is a necessity for a child to love and be dutiful to them. Even though there are cases of parents neglecting their child, the child still has a duty to love their parents.

"\u06de Worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him. And be good to your parents, relatives, orphans, the poor, neighbors near and far, friends, the wayfarer, and those who serve you. Indeed, Allah does not like those who are arrogant and boastful." (Quran, Surah An-Nisa, verse 36)

Allahummaghfir lahu warhamhu wa 'afihi wa'fu 'anhu wa akrim nuzulahu wa wassi' madkholahu, waghsilhu bil ma-i wats-tsalji walbarodi wa naqqihi minal khothoya kama yunaqqots-tsawbul abyadhu minad-danasi wa abdilhu daron khoiron min darihi wa ahlan khoiron min ahlihi wa zawjan khoiron min zawjihi, wa adkhilhul jannata wa a'idzhu min 'adzabil qobri wa fitnatihi wa min 'adzaabin naar. Translation: O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, grant him well-being and pardon him. Honor his arrival and expand his entrance. Wash him with water, snow, and ice, and cleanse him from sins as a white garment is cleansed from dirt. Replace his home with a better home and his family with a better family, and his spouse with a better spouse. Enter him into Paradise and protect him from the torment of the grave and his trials, and from the torment of the fire.
