"Dream - Muslims are certainly very familiar with Surah Al-Waqiah. This is one of the surahs in the Quran that is often recited due to its extraordinary benefits. Surah Al-Waqiah itself is the 56th surah in the Quran, consisting of 96 verses and classified as a Makkiyah surah. Reading this surah is often associated with the arrival of abundant sustenance and being kept away from poverty. Therefore, it is not surprising that many Muslims practice it."

This is as explained in the book Madza fi Sya'ban by Sayyid Alawi Al-Maliki. Then, in a hadith narrated by Imam Baihaqi, it is explained that whoever reads Surah Al-Waqiah every night will be protected from poverty. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: \

"Even so, the narration of the hadith has a degree of weakness. Therefore, it cannot be used as a strong legal basis. However, it is still permissible to practice it in order to gain benefits from reading the surah. Even so, although the narration of the hadith is weak, it does not mean that the hadith is false. 'From Ibn Mas'ud radhiyallahu 'anhu, he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam say, 'Whoever reads Surah Al-Waqi'ah every night, he will not be afflicted by poverty.' (HR. Baihaqi and its chain is weak, but it is practiced for the virtue of the deed)"

It is also explained by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that reading Surah Al-Waqiah can bring blessings in worldly life and provide a deep understanding of the characteristics of paradise and hell. Thus, this can motivate Muslims to attain paradise and avoid hell. Here is the explanation: "It is narrated that Uthman bin Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, visited Abdullah bin Mas'ud while he was ill. Uthman said, 'O Abdullah, if you were to give us a will, because if you die or leave behind a daughter, we will take care of them after your departure.'"

Abdullah bin Mas'ud answered: "I have taught them Surah Al-Waqi'ah, and I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say, 'Whoever recites it every night, I think he said, 'will be protected from poverty.' " [Muhammad Ayyub Al-Bajili, Fadhailu Al-Qur'an li Ibni ad-Dharis]
