Dream - The streets of New York City do shine beautifully, even though they are not made of precious metal. But there is one person who depends on his life by searching for the glimmer of gold, diamonds, and other precious metals scattered on those crowded streets. His name is Raffi Stepanian, the diamond scavenger on the streets of New York.
According to NY Post, Stepanian claimed to be able to earn up to USD 800 or around Rp13 million per week by searching for precious metals such as diamonds, gold, rubies, and others.
Believe it or not, Stepanian hangs his life by working like this. Although many are confused and feel foolish, Stepanian believes he can survive with this job.
"It sounds strange when you think about it, but people really drop their metal belongings unconsciously while walking on crowded streets like this,"
he/she said

A journalist from The Post was the first to discover Stepanian, who was focused on digging and excavating the side of the road with a knife. It turns out that what he was doing was mining precious metals.
"Working at Night"
He works past 7:30 PM when the streets are not as busy as during working hours. It requires precision when searching for those precious metal fragments.
"Miner"
However, because Stepanian likes it, he is committed to continue being a precious metal miner on the streets of New York in the future.
"Meanwhile, many feel that this cannot be chosen as a career. Earning USD 800 dollars in one week is still considered ordinary in a wealthy country like the United States. Even if Stepanian's technique were to be applied in Indonesia, it would be impossible to obtain high-value precious metals, considering that Indonesian roads are very different from those in New York.
