Dream - The quick count of the 2024 election has been released since yesterday, February 14. Although the official announcement of the winner of the 2024 presidential election must wait for the official determination by the KPU, the quick count has already shown significant differences in vote results. Whatever the announced outcome will be, it is fitting for a Muslim to pray for the elected leader to be trustworthy and honest in governing.
Prayer for the elected leader to be trustworthy and honest should be offered by everyone, both supporters and competitors. The following is the prayer for the elected leader to be trustworthy and honest in Arabic script, Latin script, and its meaning.
1. Prayer for Elected Leaders to be Trustworthy and Honest
Prayer for the elected leader to be trustworthy and honest as taught by Prophet Muhammad SAW. This prayer is narrated by Imam Muslim, that Prophet Muhammad SAW once prayed to always be protected from oppressive leaders.
"Here is the prayer reading:"
O Allah, whoever leads (manages) the affairs of my ummah (community), and then he loves them, then love him. And whoever causes them hardship, then make it difficult for him.

2. Prayer for the Elected Leader to be Trustworthy and Honest
"Allahumma laa tusallith 'alainaa bidzunubinaa man laa yakhafuka fiinaa wa laa yarhamunaa" means "O Allah, do not impose upon us leaders who do not fear You and are not merciful to us because of our sins."

Allahuma 'aslih wulata 'umurina, allahuma wafiqhum lima fiihi sholahuhum washolahul islam walmuslimina, allahumma a'inhum alaalqiyami bimahamihim kama amartahum ya rabbal 'alamin. Allahuma ab'id 'anhum bitanatassu'i walmufsidin waqarib ilaihim 'ahlul khairi wanaasihin ya rabbal alamin, Allahuma aslih wulata 'umurilmuslimin fi kulli makanin. Translation: O Allah, rectify the affairs of our leaders, O Allah, grant them success in what benefits their people and the welfare of Islam and the Muslims. O Allah, support them in establishing justice as You have commanded them, O Lord of the worlds. O Allah, distance them from evil and corrupt individuals and bring near to them people of goodness and sincere advisors, O Lord of the worlds. O Allah, rectify the affairs of the Muslim leaders in every place.

Allahumma inni a'udzubika min imratisshibyan was sufaha' Translation: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from childish leaders and foolish leaders."
