Prayer When Receiving Unexpected Assistance, Gratitude for His Help

Dream – Rezeki, in any form, often comes unexpectedly. As an expression of gratitude for the blessings and assistance, humans as creatures of Allah should rightfully offer prayers when receiving unexpected help. As the Almighty, Allah SWT can send assistance to His servants. Help and sustenance from Allah can come from unexpected directions.

The promise of Allah SWT to provide assistance to His servants is written in His revelation in the Quran (QS. Ath Tholaq: 2-3). This promise is especially given to His righteous servants. "And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect."

If Sahabat Dream receives unexpected assistance, it is recommended to recite the following prayer when receiving the unexpected help:

"Allahumma, I ask You to provide me with abundant and lawful sustenance, without difficulty, burden, harm, or fatigue in obtaining it. Indeed, You are capable of everything."

Prayer When Receiving Unexpected Help, Gratitude for Allah's Assistance

اَليمَّىَفيليّيكَليٓكيمييكَكيٓكيليهيليّيليٓكي
"Allahummak-finii bihalaalika 'an haraamika, wa 'aghninii bifadhlika 'amman shiwaaka." translates to "O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful against what You have forbidden, and make me independent with Your bounty from all others besides You."

Meaning:

اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالِي، وَوَلَدِي، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَنِي وَأَطْلُ حَيَاتِي عَلَى طَاعَتِكَ، وَأَحْسِنْ عَمَلِي وَاغْفِرْ لِي Translation: O Allah, increase my wealth, my children, and bless me in what You have given me and prolong my life in obedience to You, and improve my actions and forgive me.
"Allahumma ak-tsir maalii wa waladii, wa baarik lii fiimaa a’thoitanii wa athil hayaatii ‘ala tho’atika wa ahsin ‘amalii wagh-fir lii." Translation: "O Allah, increase my wealth and my children, and bless me in what You have provided for me and make my life better in obedience to You and improve my actions and forgive me."

Translated: "Meaning: \u201cO Allah, increase my wealth and children, and bless the gifts You have given me. Extend my life in obedience to You, improve my deeds, and forgive my sins.\u201d"

"Allah, O the reliever of distress, O the remover of sorrow, O the lifter of hardship, O the responder to the supplication of the desperate, provide me with lawful and good sustenance that pleases my soul and accept it from me."

Allahumma inni as-aluka al-fawza bil-jannah, wa a'udhu bika min an-nari, wa as-aluka al-'afiyah fi ad-dunya wal-akhirah, wa as-aluka al-ghinaya bil-halal. Translation: O Allah, I ask You for success in Paradise, and I seek refuge in You from the Hellfire. I ask You for well-being in this life and the Hereafter, and I ask You for wealth through lawful means.
