Dream - Amii James, an illustrator artist from England who is known for his satirical illustrations, was shocked when he was doing renovation work on his house. His latest news caught the attention of internet users for completely different reasons. While cleaning the ventilation, James was surprised to find a mummified corpse.
Amil recorded the moment and shared the video through his personal TikTok account. It didn't take long for his uploaded video to be watched 5.6 million times up until now.
"We found something 'thrilling' in our air vent," reads the text above the video, as two hands wearing rubber gloves pull out the mummy. It is known that the preserved body is a bird."
This artist explains that he has removed the air ventilation filter because he plans to paint the room and remove the ventilation filter to clean it.
In the continuing video, James said that cleaning the ventilation is like removing a corpse. "It's not about cleaning it like removing a corpse from inside," James explained.
James answered some questions that were left in the comment section through a new video. One of the questions he answered was, "Does it smell?" "No. I think that was 50 years ago when the bird died," James said in his video while laughing. James added that this house was previously owned by an old woman. "The previous owner was an old woman, so I don't want to tell her that she had a dead body in her room for the past 50 years," James added.
Some people cannot understand how the bird could enter the ventilation. "We have a fireplace," James said to his followers, answering the question of how the bird could enter. "[But] I wonder if there is a cavity in the wall from the fireplace to the chimney, and the bird fell there, I'm not so sure," James added. However, he was still surprised by the strangeness of the discovery.
Ventilation in unused chimneys is a common feature in many houses in England and serves several important purposes, such as ventilation, preventing wind from entering, and fire safety. Birds can sometimes enter buildings through holes like chimneys, ventilation, or gaps in the roof. Once inside, they may become trapped and unable to find a way out, which is likely what happened to the bird in James' house. Source: News Week.
