(Narrated by Muslim) Another hadith also states: "Khamr is the mother of all evils." (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim) From these two main sources in Islam, it is clear that there is a strict prohibition against consuming alcohol or khamr.

Through the hadith above, there is the word 'menghalalkan' which can be interpreted by Ibnul 'Arabi ra as follows: Believing that drinking alcohol is permissible by law. The meaning is being accustomed to drinking it like those who are accustomed to drinking halal beverages. Ibn Shalah said that he saw and heard people who do such things. Where this phenomenon is even more prevalent in the present time. Indeed, some people have been deceived by drinking it.

Then, Dr. Yusuf bin Abdillah bin Yusuf al-Wabil said, that even more terrifying, is the fact that it is being openly sold and consumed in some Islamic countries where the spread of narcotics is very rapid. This is unprecedented in previous times. All of this is very dangerous and can cause destruction. Therefore, it must be warned by humanity.
