Dream - Children love to be taken for a walk to the mall. Besides enjoying the mall atmosphere, children can play various games. Unfortunately, not everyone can experience the happiness like children who are often taken for a walk to the mall by their parents. This includes orphaned children who are not used to going to the mall. There are even some who have never set foot in a mall at all.
Recently, an old post showed a touching moment of a store employee crying over an orphaned child. The post on Instagram @undercover.id tells the story of a store employee who couldn't hold back their emotions while serving an orphaned child who was shopping at the mall for the first time.
In the photo shared in the post, it initially shows a store employee crying uncontrollably behind the merchandise shelves.
People who are curious ask the store employee why he cried after serving many customers. While tears streamed down his face, the store employee then explained why he cried. Apparently, he had just served orphaned children who were taken shopping for their needs at the mall. The store employee couldn't hold back his emotions when he saw the expressions of the orphaned children as they looked at the items for sale.
"They are afraid to hold, asked to choose confused. Asked to try to be idle, especially when wearing shoes.... They become stiff," said the store employee.
Apparently, the expressions of the orphaned children who were happy mixed with fear made the store employees touched. "I can't bear to see them. They are between happiness and fear.." added the store employee. The store employee became even more moved when seeing a little girl who could only be confused by the abundance of goods in the mall.
The little girl even blurted out innocently to the store employee, "Is it true that I was invited to go shopping here?"
"Orphans in the video have never been to a mall before. It was their first time stepping foot in a mall. 'Until now, they still can't believe that they entered a mall and just found out how it is inside...' said the store employee."
Although touched, the store employees managed to find a funny moment while serving the orphaned children. The cute little girl, who has been an orphan since she was little, asked innocently after seeing the price of the shoes.
"Is the money still enough to buy these sandals?" asked the girl to the volunteer who took her to the mall.
The usual thing that children often do after shopping is peeking at their friends' purchases. The same goes for these orphaned children. However, the attitude of these orphaned children truly touches the store employees.
"If one feels they have more, they will share with friends who feel their purchases are insufficient. The same goes for their remaining money, if someone has more, they will divide it among those who have less. They never think about profit or loss. The only thing in their minds is 'together'," expressed a store employee.
She also uploaded the photo on Instagram and added a trendy caption with the word "abangkuh".
