Dream - As Muslims, we are certainly very familiar with the Al-Fatihah letter. Yes, this letter has been introduced and taught since childhood because it is often read, especially during prayers. The Al-Fatihah letter must be read in every obligatory and sunnah prayer cycle. In fact, this letter is referred to as Ummu Al Kitab and Ummu Al-Quran, which means it summarizes every message in the entire Quran. In addition, it is also good to recite or give the Al-Fatihah letter as a gift to oneself.

"بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِBismillāhir-raḥmānir-raḥīm. Artinya: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful."الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَAl-ḥamdu lillāhi rabbil-'ālamīn. Artinya: "All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds."الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِAr-raḥmānir-raḥīm. Artinya: "The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.""

مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِMāliki yaumid-dīn. Artinya: "Yang menguasai di Hari Pembalasan."إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُIyyāka na'budu wa iyyāka nasta'īn. Artinya: "Hanya Engkaulah yang kami sembah, dan hanya kepada Engkaulah kami meminta pertolongan."اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَIhdinā ṣirāṭal-mustaqīm. Artinya: "Tunjukilah kami jalan yang lurus,"

"صَرَّاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
Artinya: "(yaitu) Jalan orang-orang yang telah Engkau beri nikmat kepada mereka; bukan (jalan) mereka yang dimurkai dan bukan (pula jalan) mereka yang sesat.""

"In the practice of tawasul, Al-Fatihah can also be used as a means to seek closeness to the attributes of Allah contained in the surah. Ibnul Qayyim's practice of reciting Al-Fatihah as a prayer for his healing shows that Al-Fatihah can be used as a prayer for personal needs. The book Madarijus Salikin also states that all the attributes of Allah are gathered in the surah Al-Fatihah."

So that giving this letter to oneself can help someone to attain blessings and grace from the attributes of Allah contained in the letter. Thus, giving Al-Fatihah to oneself as a prayer for a specific purpose or as a means of seeking intercession with the attributes of Allah contained in the letter is permitted in Islam.

This can also help reduce stress and be an effective remedy for mental health. Al-Fatihah is not only a prayer or recitation in prayer, but also has great benefits for a person's mental health. By practicing it regularly, one will feel positive changes within themselves, thus providing a good impact on daily life.

After that, say greetings by saying "Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullah" and then repeat your own name three times to focus on the prayer's purpose. Then, place your hand on your chest near the heart as a calming touch and a reminder of His presence. Next, start by reciting a prayer for yourself, asking Allah SWT for mercy, guidance, and protection.

After that, read Al-Fatihah with good and contemplative tajweed, absorbing every meaning contained within it. After finishing reading Al-Fatihah, continue with another prayer for oneself, begging Allah SWT to grant all good needs and desires. By following these steps, we can recite Al-Fatihah for ourselves with full devotion and hopeful anticipation of the acceptance of our prayers.
