Dream - Life is not fair, that's what is felt by a middle-aged woman known as Aisyah. Aisyah lay weakly in her bedroom while looking at the fast-spinning ceiling fan. Sometimes she sighed heavily, as if worried thinking about life problems.
Continuously sinking in emotions, Aisyah recalls her past, every moment played out like a movie. Her memory stops at one incident that happened in the playground when she was eight years old.
"Long time has passed, but the memories that started in the playground are still fresh in his mind. 'Hey Na, let's go home! It's already Maghrib. Our mother will get angry later,' said Aisyah to Aina, her best friend in elementary school. 'Wait a moment, Ecah, I want to play on this swing a little longer. Don't be too scared!' replied Aina."
Tired of standing, Aisyah sat on a bench nearby while waiting for her friend who was busy playing on the swing. Suddenly, a gentle breeze greeted Aisyah's body from behind. However, it was strange because the trees around her looked stiff and did not sway along with the blowing wind.
Aisyah also turned her gaze towards the direction of the origin of the wind, convinced that it came from a dense thicket with wild grass, just a few meters away from the playground.
The following is the translation of the 'Bahasa' text to 'English' while preserving any html tags: "Curiosity arose, and Aisyah quickly rose to walk towards the bushes to 'investigate' what was actually happening. After observing, there stretched an meticulously maintained grass area, as if it was taken care of by someone skilled in garden maintenance."
The area forms a corridor with tall wild grass growing on both sides. At the end of the corridor, two dead trees stand upright.
Aisyah continued to move forward, at that moment she was just an innocent child who did not think about the dangers that might be lurking. "What is this? This tree is like a door to somewhere, like a portal in the Ben 10 cartoon that my brother watches on television, it can take you to another realm." "What will happen if I enter, let's try," Aisyah whispered in her heart.
Before Aisyah took another step, a strong wind suddenly roared and pushed her small body backwards. Aisyah fell on her back on the ground. The little girl fainted and lost consciousness.
"Ecah, wake up! Wake up, my child! Tell me what happened. Thank goodness Na immediately called mother. Ecah's body feels hot, oh God," a faint voice of mother Aisyah was heard. Aisyah slowly tried to open her eyes, she saw many villagers gathered around her, including members of the village mosque congregation."
"Since that day, Aisyah's life has completely changed. She was blessed with the ability to see supernatural beings. However, 'blessing' is not the right word for Aisyah, it is more like something that ruins her life. Or, in the term often discussed in Malay society, Aisyah's 'hijab' has been lifted."
Aisyah can now see various kinds of frightening supernatural beings. No matter how big or small, short or tall, slim or full-bodied.
Life of Aisyah is always colored by fear and anxiety, she is unable to live her daily life like a normal person. Aisyah is only trapped inside her room alone, isolating herself from seeing 'creatures' out there.
"Even more tragic, Aisyah lost her courage and self-confidence, she does not have a job, she does not have a life partner. She is truly disconnected from social life and society. Her fate is truly unfortunate. The future that awaits Aisyah feels bleak and full of uncertainty."
"Erghh," a hoarse voice was heard from outside Aisyah's room, startling her from her daydream. Aisyah saw a dark shadow moving towards her bedroom window. "Oh no, he's coming again," Aisyah shouted with half anger. "Don't disturb me, damn it!""
