Although the moment is sacred, it does not rule out the possibility of human error that occurred during the wedding event. This was proven through a video that was re-uploaded by the Instagram account @video_medsos.
The initial video shows the sacred moment of a couple wearing all-white clothing conducting the ijab kabul procession in front of the officiant and witnesses.
Not long after, a man dressed in all black and wearing a traditional Javanese hat called "blangkon" came carrying a microphone that seemed to be intended for the groom.
Slowly, the man walked among the invited guests who were witnessing the ijab kabul procession. Shortly after, he straightened his pants so he could sit next to the groom and hand over the microphone that was in his hand.
"Unfortunately, when I wanted to sit next to the groom, suddenly a quite loud sound appeared. It turned out that the sound was coming from the microphone carrier's pants, which tore when he was about to sit."
He also tried to cover the hole in his pants with his hand. Although his pants were torn with a quite large size, he still tried to sit next to the groom.
"Fortunately, he managed to half squat next to the groom to provide the microphone. The hole in his pants was also not visible."
The process of ijab kabul went smoothly even though the video recorder held back laughter to avoid bursting in the middle of that sacred moment.
The video successfully made netizens laugh. Especially, when hearing the loud tearing sound. "Why do I also get caught laughing until I can't breathe...," said @yulia_cake_ketawa_mama_odan.
