Even though a storm is pouring over Dubai, the sound of the azan can still be heard loudly from one of the mosques amidst the tall buildings. The muazzin is heard changing the call to prayer. The original "hayya alalfalaah" is changed to "shollu fii rihalikum." The call "shollu fii rihalikum" in the azan aims to encourage Muslims to perform their prayers from their respective homes. The change in the call is made because Dubai continues to be hit by rain, resulting in a large flood surrounding the city.

This is in accordance with the hadith narrated by Imam Muslim and Abu Dhahid with the authentic numbers 1633 and 1062. The hadith explains that Prophet Muhammad SAW used to instruct the muadhin to say 'alaa shollu fii rihalikum' to encourage the Muslim community to perform prayers at their respective homes when the weather is cold or rainy at night. "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah, may peace be upon him, used to instruct the muadhin, when the night is cold and rainy while he was traveling, to say 'Alaa shollu fi rihalikum' (Pray at your respective places)," as stated in HR.
