Dream - A video circulated showing a crushed car being hit by a container truck in Kamal Muara, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, on Thursday, June 13, 2024. In the circulating video, it is said that the truck's cargo also fell on the white Hyundai car until it was severely damaged.
"Trapped Driver"
"There has been an accident at Bunderan Kamal in front of the village," said a recorder in the video. Amazingly, the driver of the car managed to survive even though they were still trapped under the car body that was crushed by a container from the overturned truck."
"The victim is still alive, okay calm down (to the driver)," he said again. The Head of Traffic Unit of North Jakarta Metro Police, Inspector Edy Purwanto, confirmed the accident. He said that the officers are still trying to evacuate."
"New handling by the accident unit team," said Edy, as quoted from merdeka.com. Edy confirmed that there were no fatalities in the accident. The driver of the white Hyundai car is also safe and currently undergoing evacuation process. "Meanwhile, there are no fatalities. Only injuries," he said.
