Dream - Sad news comes from Japanese anime lovers, especially fans of the Doraemon animated series. Noriko Ohara, the voice actress of the character Nobita Nobi in the new Doraemon animation, just passed away on July 12, 2024.
Quoting malaymail.com, his agency has just announced the death of Ohara at the age of 88, after suffering from an illness. In the original Doraemon series in 1973 on Nippon Television, she portrayed the character of Nobita's mother, Tamako. Eventually, she became the voice actress for the character of Nobita in the TV Asahi version in 1979.
Apart from being a popular anime series in Japan, Ohara also became a voice actress for foreign films. She also voiced Japanese actresses such as Brigitte Bardot and Shirley MacLaine.
Other shows he worked on include Time Bokan, Yatterman, and Time Bokan 2000: Kaito Kiramekiman. In addition to being a voice actor, he also gives lectures and releases audio books that he narrates.
Noriko Ohara was born in Tokyo on October 2, 1935. Ohara's death left behind a husband and a son.
