Dream - In order to commemorate Kartini Day, the YouTube platform presents an exclusive documentary series that highlights the inspirational stories of five female content creators in Indonesia.
"5 women that we will feature later are capable of opening opportunities for change that will ultimately have a positive impact on themselves and the surrounding community,"
said Olavina Harahap, Senior Product Marketing Manager, YouTube Indonesia and Southeast Asia at the Special Screening of the Documentary Seribu Kartini on Friday, April 19, 2024.
Olavian said, this series is named "Seribu Kartini." This series highlights five YouTube creators from diverse backgrounds, who dare to share their personal stories in overcoming social obstacles and limitations.
Five female creators among them are Nessie Judge, Novi Petani Happy, Arih Lystia, Irene Komala, and Nadhira Afifa.
Like Kartini who fought for women's rights, these creators tell their journey in searching for education, engaging in politics, and freeing themselves from limiting norms.
According to Olavian, this series is a tribute to Kartini's spirit and also a catalyst for greater change in society.
