Dream - Fireworks become the identity of New Year celebrations worldwide. Including Hong Kong, which also presents the largest fireworks show every year during the transition from December 31st to January 1st.
Special in this year, against the backdrop of the iconic Hong Kong skyline, the audience will be treated to a 12-minute musical fireworks display, surpassing previous New Year's Eve shows in this city in terms of scope and duration. As midnight approaches, the front of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) will be adorned with a large-scale countdown clock.
At midnight, the number 2024 will illuminate the building on the edge of this port, initiating a show synchronized with a dazzling fireworks display, a harmonious combination of artistic music and vibrant light performance. This performance will fill audiences around the world with hope and excitement as Hong Kong prepares the stage for an extraordinary beginning in 2024.
Fireworks will also take the audience on a mesmerizing journey through four seasons, symbolizing the cycle of life and new beginnings. From the serene beauty of winter to the vibrant colors of summer, the fireworks will embody the essence of each season. Carefully chosen accompanying music will enhance the immersive experience, evoking the mood of each season and further perfecting this spectacle.
Just as when the countdown moment approaches midnight, which is magnificent, it will trigger a fascinating audiovisual experience, combining energetic electronic rhythms, enchanting classical melodies, and rich tones from traditional Chinese instruments.
The artistic combination of this music represents the unique fusion of old and contemporary vibes in Hong Kong, bridging Eastern and Western cultures in a captivating performance.
To perfect the atmosphere until reaching the peak of New Year's Eve, this event also includes a session of hope requests before the show starts every 15 minutes starting from 23:00 local time or one hour earlier than Jakarta time/Western Indonesia Time (WIB) alias the same as Central Indonesia Time (WITA).
