Dream - The national economy is currently on alert. Amidst the weakening of the rupiah exchange rate, the global oil prices continue to rise. This increase is triggered by geopolitics ranging from conflicts in the Middle East to the decreasing supply of gasoline in the world.
Data Bloomberg recorded that the exchange rate of Rupiah has reached the level of Rp16,397 per US dollar. Amidst the depreciation of the Rupiah, PT Pertamina (Persero) chose not to change the price of its non-subsidized Fuel Oil (BBM) as of June 1, 2024.
Quoting Liputan6.com's report, the price of non-subsidized fuel type Pertamax is still maintained at Rp12,950 per liter. Meanwhile, Pertamax Green 95 is priced at Rp13,900 per liter.
BBM with a higher RON level, namely Pertamax Turbo, still remains at around Rp14,400 per liter. Meanwhile, the price for Dexlite diesel is Rp14,550 per liter and Pertamina Dex is Rp15,100 per liter.
As for subsidized fuel prices, they remain unchanged until June 2024. The prices of Pertalite and BioSolar fuels remain the same. The government will maintain the subsidized price of Pertalite fuel at Rp10,000 per liter and BioSolar fuel at Rp6,800 per liter.
