Dream - Every year Muslims celebrate Eid al-Adha. In the year 2024 or 1445 Hijri, the government has designated the Eid al-Adha holiday to fall on Monday, June 17, 2024. Unlike Eid al-Fitr, this holiday is marked by the sacrifice of animals.

Quoting NU Online, the command to sacrifice is directly emphasized by Allah SWT in the Quran, Surah Al-Kautsar verse 2. "So, establish prayer for your Lord and sacrifice!"

This advice is also emphasized by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through his hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), which states: "Whoever has the means to do so but does not offer a sacrifice, should not come near our prayer area." (Reported by Ahmad, Ibn Majah, and Al-Hakim, but this hadith is mauquf).

In its development, sacrificial offerings can now also be done online. Regarding the purchase of sacrificial animals, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) urges the public to be cautious of individuals who offer online sacrificial purchases.

The price is very cheap compared to the market price. The sacrificial body is not registered or officially licensed. The account number is different from the identity of the sacrificial body. Asking for personal data such as one-time password (OTP) or PIN. There is no documentation of photos and videos during the process of selection, slaughter, and distribution of sacrifices.
