Dream - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has inaugurated the Radio Republika Indonesia (RRI) studio in the Indonesian Capital City (IKN) on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Jokowi was appointed as the first speaker in the inaugural broadcast of the RRI studio located in the Construction Worker Housing (HPK) area. Jokowi was accompanied by the Minister of Communication and Information Technology (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi, the Head of the IKN Authority (OIKN) Bambang Susantono, and the President Director of LPP RRI Hendrasmo.

Jokowi added, the public needs to hear about the developments in the Capital City of Nusantara through RRI broadcasts. "I think the people throughout the country need to hear about the existing developments in the Capital City of Nusantara," he continued.

"As the radio of the Republic of Indonesia, RRI IKN is tasked with voicing what is happening in IKN, including the processes of its development," said the Minister of Communication and Information Technology after accompanying President Jokowi in the inaugural broadcast of RRI IKN in the Capital of the Archipelago."

Menkominfo added, building a new city cannot be done in a short time, it takes 10-20 years. "But we can see the progress, and it turns out that there is also a lot of interest from investors who want to invest in this IKN," said Budi Arie Setiadi. According to Menkominfo, the President has also conveyed that what has been achieved in the development of IKN should be continuously communicated.
