"To improve the quality of state-owned enterprise employees, Erick Thohir has also implemented a four-day work week trial for some of his employees. Using the term Compressed Work Schedule (CWS), this policy allows employees to enjoy 3 days off per week."
Although only working four days a week, the program is designed to not reduce the performance of its employees. On the contrary, CWS is expected to improve the wellbeing and productivity among employees of state-owned enterprises.
The CWS program is also designed to improve work-life balance, engagement, stress, and burnout, which are currently prevalent among employees. However, employees who follow this four-day work week must meet strict requirements and conditions.
Not all employees of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises will work on a Work from Home (CWS) basis. The unit leaders must ensure that the number of employees taking CWS does not disrupt the operational activities of the unit and the services of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises.
