Dream - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) as Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN). AHY's inclusion in the Maju Indonesia Cabinet also ended the opposition position of the Democratic Party.

AHY replaces Hadi Tjahjanto who moved to become the Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law, and Security (Polhukam) left by Mahfud MD after resigning as the Vice Presidential Candidate (Cawapres) accompanying Ganjar Pranowo.

"Salary Received by AHY"

The salary of a minister is regulated in Government Regulation (PP) Number 60 of 2000, with a basic salary of Rp5,040,000 per month. "To the State Minister, a basic salary of Rp 5,040,000.00 per month is given," stated Article 2 of PP 60 of 2000.

AHY will also receive allowances as regulated in Presidential Decree (Keppres) No. 68 of 2001. A minister is entitled to receive a position allowance of up to Rp13,608,000 per month. "State Ministers, Attorney General, and Commander of the Indonesian National Army, as well as other officials who hold positions equivalent to or on par with State Ministers, are entitled to Rp13,608,000.00," states Article 1 Paragraph (2) section e of the regulation.

If the total salary and allowance of AHY as Minister of ATR/BPN is around Rp18,648,000 per month. However, the amount of income obtained by this former major-ranked soldier does not include other allowances and operational funds.

Other benefits and operational funds are used to finance interests in their duties, alias for the country.

In addition, ministers also receive other facilities such as housing and official vehicles as referred to in Government Regulation No. 50 of 1980 on the Financial/Administrative Rights of State Ministers and Former State Ministers as well as Their Widows/Widowers.
