Dream - The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) provides Dissemination of Placement and Protection for Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) to 250 prospective PMI. Prospective PMI are workers who will depart to destination countries in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and other Asia Pacific regions.

Plt. Director General of Labor Placement and Job Opportunities Expansion (Binapenta & PKK) at the Ministry of Manpower, Estiarty Haryani, said that this dissemination is held with the aim of providing insight into protection for prospective Indonesian migrant workers (PMI). These foreign exchange heroes will gain knowledge about the protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers according to Law No. 17 of 2018 concerning the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers, both in general aspects and health aspects.

Rendra revealed that during 2023, a total of 274,965 Indonesian Migrant Workers have been placed in various countries. Taiwan has become the country with the highest number of placements, which is 83,216 people, followed by Malaysia (72,260), and Hong Kong (65,916). Meanwhile, East Java has become the largest province of origin for Indonesian Migrant Workers with a total of 68,069 people, followed by Central Java (59,009) and West Java (52,961).
