Currently the United States dollar (US) is still the benchmark for the exchange rate of world currencies, because this currency is the most widely traded globally. According to a report from Forbes, here are the 10 lowest currencies in the world in 2024.

1. Iranian Rial (IRR)

Indonesia is the largest Southeast Asian country based on GDP thanks to its service sector, and this country is also rich in commodities. However, the exchange rate of the rupiah weakens against other currencies due to high inflation and concerns of recession.

               

6. Pound Lebanon (LBP)
