11 Benefits of Hajj and Umrah for Muslims, Enhancing Vertical and Horizontal Relationships
Vertical and horizontal relationships will improve after performing Hajj and Umrah.
Dream - The Saudi Arabian government has set 1 Zulhijah 1444 H to fall on June 19, 2023, and the wukuf in Arafah will take place on June 27, 2023.
The Saudi Arabian Hajj Service Organizers (PPIH) are preparing various services during the peak of the hajj in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina (Armina). One of them is related to the schedule of movement of Indonesian hajj pilgrims.
"Ahead of the hajj peak, Indonesian hajj pilgrims will gradually depart to Arafah on 8 Zulhijah 1444 H. Pilgrims will wear ihram clothing and take miqat in their respective hotels," said Chairman of the Saudi Arabian PPIH, Subhan Cholid, in Makkah, quoted on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
Subhan detailed that the movement will begin at 07:00 Saudi Arabian time until completion. The Saudi Arabian PPIH is finalizing the departure schedule to Arafah based on groups.
"The departure schedule to Arafah is arranged based on groups. We will soon socialize this so that each group understands their movement schedule, so that the preparation process for each group can be adjusted according to the departure time," said Subhan.
Subhan asks pilgrims in each group to discipline themselves in obeying the departure rules. Preparation at the hotel can be done one hour before departure.
For example, groups with a departure schedule at 11:00 in the morning do not need to prepare since 07:00 in the morning. Moreover, they should not crowd the hotel lobby area and already wear ihram clothing.
"To avoid crowding in the hotel lobby, pilgrims are advised to obey their departure schedule. Bathing and preparing to wear ihram clothing can be done within one to one and a half hours before departure. Before that, pilgrims can use their time to rest," he said.
"Pilgrims are also advised not to go down and wait in the hotel lobby, except when it is close to their departure time. This way, the movement will be more orderly and there will be no crowding in the hotel lobby," he added.
The Naqabah (Saudi organda) has prepared 21 bus fleets for each maktab in the process of moving pilgrims from hotels in Makkah to Arafah.
This transportation mode is estimated to rotate three times to transport Indonesian hajj pilgrims in each maktab. There are 70 maktab that shelter Indonesian hajj pilgrims. Each maktab has a number of approximately 2,900 pilgrims.
"The movement process of hajj pilgrims from hotels in Makkah to Arafah is expected to be completed before 24:00 WAS so that pilgrims can rest immediately to participate in the wukuf procession on 9 Zulhijah 1444 H," said Subhan.
Indonesian hajj pilgrims will then be departed from Arafah to Muzdalifah on 9 Zulhijah. The movement is planned to start at 19:00 WAS and is expected to be completed at 01:00 WAS on 10 Zulhijah 1444 H early in the morning.
"There are 7 to 9 buses prepared per maktab in this movement process. The number of fleets is reduced because the distance from Arafah to Muzdalifah is closer and to avoid traffic congestion," explained Subhan.
"Each bus will rotate (shuttle or taraddudi) seven times to pick up pilgrims in Arafah and take them to Muzdalifah," he continued.
Still on 9 Zulhijah 1444 H, around 23:00 WAS, Indonesian hajj pilgrims will gradually be departed to Mina. On this route, each maktab prepares 5 bus fleets that will rotate eight times each.
"The PPIH will make maximum efforts so that all pilgrims have left Muzdalifah before the hot weather," said Subhan.
"In Mina, pilgrims will stay for several days before being departed back to their hotels in Makkah," he added.
