The latest smartwatch from Apple has arrived.
Dream - Apple officially released the iPhone 15 series, along with the Apple Watch Series 9. There are two major changes in the smartwatch, namely the versatile double-tap gesture and the integration of the latest S9 SiP (System in Package) processor.
According to techverse.asia, Apple's Chief Operating Officer, Jeff Williams, said that Apple provides innovations in this smartwatch such as Digital Crown and Taptic Engine. Users can perform actions like tapping, swiping, raising their wrist, and closing to mute the sound.

Users can now tap their index finger and thumb (like pinching), their watch twice simultaneously to control the Apple Watch Series 9. This gesture can be used to answer and end phone calls, and even take photos with the Remote Camera on the Apple Watch. Double tapping will also open the Smart Stack from the watch face, and double tapping again will scroll through the widgets in the stack. Double tapping can also control the main button in an app, allowing it to be used to stop a timer, play and pause music, or snooze an alarm.
In addition, the embedded S9 in this Apple Watch Series 9 is a CPU that has 5.6 billion transistors. The chip is reported to be made with the same technology as the Apple A15 Bionic chip, which made its debut in the iPhone 13 and provides a battery life of up to 18 hours.
One other improvement is the brightness of Watch Series 9 can reach 2,000 nits, twice the maximum found in Series 8. For dark rooms or early morning, the screen can also be lowered to just one nit to avoid disturbing people around.
Apple Watch Series 9 will be available in aluminum colors such as pink, starlight, silver, midnight, and product red. Meanwhile, for the Watch 9 Series stainless steel variant, it will be available in gold, silver, and graphite colors.
Apple Watch Series 9 is available on September 22 for certain countries. The price is tagged starting from US$399 or around Rp6,125 million.
