Dream - PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), the official distributor of commercial vehicles from Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) in Indonesia, officially launched the electric truck, eCanter, in the Indonesian market at the prestigious Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024.

Indonesia has become the seventh market for eCanter since this emission-free truck was introduced in 2017. This electric truck is also in line with the Indonesian government's commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2060.

The electric eCanter truck has an M-sized battery with a capacity of 83kWh, which can travel a distance of 140KM with a GVW of 6 tons. Its body has a wheelbase length of 3.4 meters and a large torque suitable for carrying maximum volume loads.

Sales and Marketing Director of KTB, Aji Jaya, said that the eAxle technology combines the functions of axle, gear, motor, and inverter, making maintenance of the eCanter easier and more efficient. Aji Jaya stated that eAxle is the key technology of the eCanter.

After being tested for more than 25,000KM, the eCanter can operate well without any problems and has received positive responses from consumers, including driving comfort and strong acceleration.

Chelsea Islan, an actress and model, also represented and drove the eCanter at the launch event. The choice of female representation also shows that the eCanter is very comfortable, safe, environmentally friendly, and driver-friendly for women.
