Xpander Exceed's Excellent Features, Family Car Below Rp300 Million

Not only that, for consumers who want an affordable variant, they can consider the Exceed Type which is offered with a CVT transmission option priced at Rp280.7 million and a manual option priced at Rp271.5 million. Suitable for those who want to own an Xpander with a budget below Rp300 million.

The Exceed still brings the latest Xpander's advantages. It offers dimensions of 4,595 mm in length, 1,750 mm in width, and 1,750 mm in height. In addition, it offers a ground clearance of 220 mm, making it easy for this variant to pass through various road conditions.

This variant still relies on the 1.5L MIVEC DOHC 16 Valve 1,499 cc engine that produces 105 PS of power and 141 Nm of torque, known for its power and efficiency.

Exterior and Interior

The suspension on the Exceed variant is the same as the variants above. The Exceed variant already uses disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear. It utilizes MacPherson Strut with coil springs in the front and torsion beam in the rear.

The exterior follows the latest refresh. It features LED projector headlights, LED position lamps, halogen fog lamps, and rear combination lamps with LED and shark fin antenna touches on the roof. Its wheels have a smaller size compared to the top variants, which is 16 inches in single tone.

The interior offers a 7-inch touchscreen head unit with mobile phone connectivity. Refreshments on the seat materials, which are given silver accents, add a premium impression to this Exceed variant.

Safety Features

When it comes to safety features, the Exceed variant is not inferior to the variants above. It is equipped with speed sensing door locks, ABS EBD and BA braking as standard, as well as dual SRS airbags.

Three-point seat belts, ISOFIX, parking sensors, and immobilizers are provided in this variant. This variant also has active stability control and hill start assist features.

As for the driving experience, Rifat still gives a positive rating for this low MPV because almost all parts are similar to the higher variants of Mitsubishi Xpander.

"There is no problem at all with this model, the same comfort, the same driving feeling, everything is the same. It's just cheaper," added Rifat.
