10% MIND ID Employees Filled by Women, Which State-Owned Enterprises Have the Highest Users?

This can be seen in the State-Owned Mining Industry Holding, MIND ID, which supports women empowerment. It is known that 10 percent of employees in the MIND ID Group are women, with 16.22 percent of them serving as members of the Board of Commissioners or the Board of Directors of the MIND ID Group.

10% of Workers in State-Owned Mining Companies are Women

Currently, MIND ID employs a total of 10,843 permanent and contract employees, 20,855 outsourced workers, and 15,381 employees who have completed OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) Training.

A total of 99.58 percent of MIND ID Group employees have returned to work after taking maternity leave.

In carrying out their work, employees receive an average of 66.23 hours of training per year.

With this human resources condition, MIND ID employs around 10 percent of female employees.

State-Owned Mining Companies Absorb the Most Female Employees

Among them, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM) has 304 permanent female employees and 13 contract female employees, PT Bukit Asam Tbk has 292 permanent female employees and 16 contract female employees.

Meanwhile, PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (INALUM) has 150 permanent female employees and 4 contract female employees, and PT Timah Tbk has 273 permanent female employees and 7 contract female employees. From these numbers, there are a total of 1,019 permanent female employees and 40 contract female employees.

Meanwhile, until 2022, there were a total of around 964 local recruits serving in management and senior management positions in the MIND ID Group. This number represents 8.89 percent of the total permanent workforce.

The State-Owned Mining Industry Holding, MIND ID, through its entity PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero), owns the majority shares in four of the largest mining companies in Indonesia, namely PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Timah Tbk, and PT Freeport Indonesia.

According to Heri Yusuf, digitalization of the mining industry has also become one of the main aspects of the company's attention. Gradual operational transformation into digital is carried out to provide added value throughout the mining and mineral processing process chain.

“In addition, these efforts also aim to achieve optimal and efficient operational activities,” he said.

Each member of MIND ID also has its own digital initiatives. For example, ANTAM has hole marking, core marking QR code, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for core analysis. There is also the Virtual Assistant for Employee Service Desk Human Capital (VANESHA).

Meanwhile, PT Bukit Asam Tbk has the CISEA mobile application for production and performance monitoring systems, as well as coal scanning and analysis. INALUM has a smart system in its processing plant.

Furthermore, PT Timah Tbk has Ausmelt TSL Furnace for mineral processing. Meanwhile, PT Freeport Indonesia has a hyperconnected network to unlock SmartMining 5.0 with 5G technology: Remote Loader Operation. In addition, the company continues to enhance non-staff skills for remote operations and automation supported by the Professional Certification Institute of PTFI.
