1. Prayer to Facilitate World and Hereafter Affairs (Prayer of the Companions of the Cave)

Praying for all affairs to be facilitated by Allah SWT is indeed important for every human being. One of the prayers to facilitate worldly and hereafter affairs is the prayer of the companions of the cave. This prayer is recorded in the Quran Surah Al-Kahf verse 10.

Here is the prayer of the companions of the cave that can be recited as a prayer to facilitate worldly and hereafter affairs:

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا

Robbanaa aatinaa minladunka rohmataw wahayya lanaa min amrinaa rosyada.

Meaning:

"O our Lord, grant us mercy from Yourself and prepare for us from our affair right guidance."

2. Prayer to Facilitate World and Hereafter Affairs (Prayer of Prophet Moses)

There is also a prayer to facilitate worldly and hereafter affairs that comes from Prophet Moses. This prayer was recited by Prophet Moses when facing Pharaoh. Prophet Moses prayed to Allah SWT to be given ease and facilitation in his affairs. This prayer is mentioned in the Quran Surah Taha verses 25 to 28.

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي

Robbis rohlii shodrii, wa yassirlii amrii, wahlul ‘uqdatam mil lisaani yafqohu qoulii.

Meaning: "O my Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance], and ease for me my task, and untie the knot from my tongue, that they may understand my speech."

3. Prayer to Facilitate World and Hereafter Affairs

Reciting prayers to facilitate worldly and hereafter affairs will be granted according to the will of Allah SWT.

اللَّهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلًا، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلًا

Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja’altahu sahla, wa anta taj’alul hazna idza syi’ta sahla.

Meaning:

"O Allah, there is no ease except what You have made easy. And You make the difficult, if You wish, easy."

Ya hayyu ya qoyyum bi rahmatika astaghiits, wa ash-lihlii sya’nii kullahu wa laa takilnii ilaa nafsii thorfata ‘ainin abadan.

Meaning:

"O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting, by Your mercy I seek help, make all my affairs right, and do not entrust me to myself for the blink of an eye forever."

5. Prayer to Facilitate World and Hereafter Affairs

There are still many prayers to ask for ease in all matters. In addition to the above prayer, a prayer to facilitate all affairs and speech is also quoted from the Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah verse 286.

 رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَآ اِنْ نَّسِيْنَآ اَوْ اَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَآ اِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهٗ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهٖۚ وَاعْفُ عَنَّاۗ وَاغْفِرْ لَنَاۗ وَارْحَمْنَا ۗ اَنْتَ مَوْلٰىنَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ ࣖ

Robbanaa laa tuaa-khidznaa innasiinaa au akhtho'na, robbanaa walaa tahmil 'alainaa ishran kamaa hamaltahuu 'ala al ladziina min qoblinaa, robbana walaa tuhammilnaa maa laa thoo qatalanabih, wa' fuanna waghfirlanaa warhamnaa, anta maulana fansurnaa 'ala al qaumilkaafiriin.

Meaning:

“O our Lord, do not hold us accountable if we forget or make mistakes. O our Lord, do not burden us with a load that is too heavy for us to bear, just as You did to those before us. O our Lord, do not burden us with what we cannot bear. Forgive us, have mercy on us, You are our Protector, so help us against the disbelieving people.”

6. Prayer to Facilitate World and Hereafter Affairs

Robbanaftah bainanaa wa baina qauminaa bi al haqqi wa anta khairu al faatihiin.

Meaning: "Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who give decision."

7. Prayer of Blessings to Achieve Success in World and Hereafter

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَاةً تَهَبُ لَنَا بِهَا مِنْهُ أَكْمَلَ الْإِمْدَادِ وَفَوْقَ الْمُرَادِ فِيْ دَارِ الدُّنْيَا وَدَارِ الْمَعَادِ وَعَلٰى آلِهٖ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ بِقَدْرِ عَظَمَةِ ذَاتِكَ عَدَدَ مَا عَلِمْتَ وَزِنَةَ مَا عَلِمْتَ وَمِلْءَ مَا عَلِمْتَ

Allahumma shalli 'ala sayyidinaa muhammadin shalatan tahabu lana biha minhu akmalal imdadi wa fawqol muradi fi darid dunya wa daril ma'adi wa 'ala alihi wa shahbihi wa sallim wa barik biqodri 'adhomati dzatika 'adada ma 'alimta wa zinata ma 'alimta wa mil a ma 'alimta.

Meaning:

"O Allah, bestow blessings upon our master Muhammad, a prayer that is loved by us from him, the most perfect help and exceeding the desired goal in this world and the hereafter, and upon his family and companions, and send peace and blessings according to the greatness of Your essence, as much as what You know and as heavy as what You know and as complete as what You know."
