Daringly Climbing the Giant Javanese Tamarind Tree at Maghrib, Four Friends Disturbed by Jin, Watery Blisters Appear All Over Their Bodies

As a result of the incident, Mayang got a 'free' scar on her forehead. All because of that cursed creature with a monkey face.

The creature, suspected to be a jinn, was seen hanging from Izah's Javanese tamarind tree, her friend and neighbor.

This horror story began on a late afternoon before Maghrib when Mayang, along with a friend and her three siblings, went to Izah's house.

"Izah hasn't been to school for three days, so the four of us planned to visit her," Mayang recalled, claiming that she could see supernatural beings.

When they arrived at Izah's house, the girl was seen relaxing under the heavily fruiting Javanese tamarind tree.

It turned out that Izah didn't go to school because she had chickenpox. Her whole body was covered in watery blisters.

Izah forbade her friends from approaching her for fear of contagion. Previously, her siblings had also been infected by her.

Unable to approach Izah, Mayang shifted her attention to the abundant tamarind fruits hanging down to the ground.

Mayang's saliva seemed to keep dripping as she imagined the taste. So, she asked for some tamarind fruits to make sambal colek.

After getting Izah's permission, the four of them climbed the heavily fruiting tamarind tree.

Mayang and her three friends seemed oblivious to the darkening evening atmosphere before Maghrib.

While busy picking tamarind fruits from the dense tree, someone suddenly greeted Mayang.

"That one is mine.. don't take it!" shouted the voice, startling Mayang.

When she looked up towards the source of the voice, Mayang instantly saw a creature resembling a monkey perched on the farthest branch.

"You take it. I don't want it either," Mayang casually replied. Mayang seemed unaware that she was talking to a monkey-like creature.

After filling her plastic bag, Mayang planned to climb down from the tree. Meanwhile, her three friends were still busy picking tamarind fruits.

Suddenly, the creature Mayang had seen a while ago shouted angrily.

Apparently, one of Mayang's friend's siblings had taken a tamarind fruit that Mayang had decided not to pick earlier.

"That's mine.. Mine.. That's mine!" the monkey-like creature shouted while spitting its saliva several times towards the four girls.

The black saliva scattered everywhere. Trying to avoid it, Mayang made a mistake by stepping on a brittle branch, causing her to fall.

Meanwhile, Mayang's friends and siblings who saw her fall and kiss the ground burst into laughter. But their laughter stopped when they saw blood on Mayang's forehead.

After that small accident, they all went home. However, an unpleasant experience awaited them upon arriving home.

"After leaving Izah's house, my three friends and I felt itchy and small spots appeared on our bodies, which gradually grew larger and spread," Mayang said.

The next day, Mayang's three friends contracted chickenpox, just like Izah. Their fever lasted almost a week.

"And the blisters filled with fluid kept getting bigger, some even turned into abscesses," Mayang recalled.

As their condition showed no signs of improvement, it surprised Pak Mail, Mayang's friend's father.

"Pak Mail asked me where we went before they got sick. So, I told him about what we experienced.

"It turns out, according to Pak Mail, my friends were affected by the jinn's saliva, which inhabited the tamarind tree," Mayang said.

After drinking water that had been recited with prayers, Alhamdulillah, Mayang's three friends recovered.

Since then, Mayang and her three friends have never played at Izah's house again, as prohibited by Pak Mail.

According to Mayang, the guardian creature of the tamarind tree does not belong to Izah's family. But because the tamarind tree is too dense and tall, it has become a place for jinn to reside.

In addition, when they picked tamarind fruits at Izah's house, it was already dark and Maghrib had begun.

"That's why we should never seek shelter under big trees, especially those that are dense and neglected.

"For those who have big, dense trees, if there is no need, please trim and remove them so that they don't become a hiding place for jinn," she said.

According to Mayang, the jinn creatures actually don't want to eat tamarind fruits. But these supernatural beings intentionally give signs to disturb us.

"It was also my mistake to respond to its warning. If I hadn't responded, it wouldn't have known that I could see it. So, that incident wouldn't have happened," Mayang concluded.
