Delayed Full Hajj Candidates Only Need to Confirm Payment, Here are the Terms

Dream - The payment stage for regular hajj fees has been opened until May 5, 2023. The payment is open for 203,320 quotas, consisting of 201,063 regular hajj pilgrims, 685 guides in the Hajj and Umrah Guidance Group (KBIHU), and 1,572 regional hajj officers (PHD).

Saiful Mujab, Director of Domestic Hajj Development, explained that the 201,063 quotas for regular hajj pilgrims consist of delayed full hajj pilgrims, pilgrims included in the departure quota allocation for the 2023 hajj season, priority elderly pilgrims, and reserve pilgrims.

According to Saiful, the delayed full hajj pilgrims are divided into three groups. First, delayed full hajj pilgrims before 1441 H/2020 AD. Second, delayed full hajj pilgrims in 1441 H/2020 AD. Third, delayed full hajj pilgrims in 1443 H/2022 AD.

Delayed Full Hajj Pilgrims in 2020 and 2022 Only Need to Confirm Payment

In their payment, regular hajj pilgrims categorized as delayed full hajj pilgrims before 2020 need to pay the hajj fee difference based on the amount of the full hajj travel cost (Bipih) per embarkation plus the virtual account.

Meanwhile, delayed full hajj pilgrims in 2020 and 2022 only need to confirm payment.

"Regular hajj pilgrims who delayed their full payment in 2020 and 2022 only need to confirm payment at the Hajj Payment Receiving Bank (BPS) Bipih. After confirmation, they report to the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office in the District/City," he added.

Saiful explained that delayed full hajj pilgrims in 2020 and 2022 who have made partial payment still need to pay the hajj fee difference based on the amount of the full Bipih per embarkation plus the virtual account.

Saiful explained that the full Bipih payment is made at the same BPS Bipih when making the initial payment or the replacement BPS Bipih.

"The Bipih payment can be made from 08:00 to 15:00 WIB," he added.

Complete List of 1444H Hajj Fees, Bipih for Regional Hajj Officers and KBIHU Guides is Rp40 Million Higher

Dream - Regular hajj pilgrims can now pay the Travel Cost of Hajj (Bipih) for the 1444H/2023 AD hajj season, starting from today (Tuesday, April 11, 2022) until May 5, 2023.

This payment stage is regulated in the Minister of Religious Affairs Decree (KMA) No. 352 of 2023 concerning the Regular Hajj Travel Cost (Bipih) for the 1444H Hajj Season and the Use of Benefits.

"The Minister has issued the KMA for Regular Bipih. The payment is open from April 11 to May 5, 2023," explained Hilman Latief, Director General of Hajj and Umrah Management, in a press release on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

The KMA regulates the Bipih for regular hajj pilgrims, regional hajj officers (PHD), and guides in the Hajj and Umrah Guidance Group (KBIHU). It also regulates the payment period and the amount of the Hajj Implementation Cost (BPIH) sourced from the Benefits Value.

"If there are still quotas available by the end of the period, the payment period can be extended and will be determined by the Director General of PHU," he added.

Bipih Amount for Regular Hajj Pilgrims and Provincial Distribution

"The Bipih amount for these hajj pilgrims is used for the costs of hajj flights, living expenses, and some costs of Arafah, Mudzalifah, and Mina services," explained Hilman.

Here are the Bipih Amounts for Regular Hajj Pilgrims and their provincial distribution:

a. Aceh Embarkation is Rp44,364,357.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from Aceh Province

b. Medan Embarkation is Rp45,201,652.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from North Sumatra Province

c. Batam Embarkation is Rp47,429,308.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from Riau Province, Riau Islands Province, West Kalimantan Province, and Jambi Province

d. Padang Embarkation is Rp46,044,850.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from West Sumatra Province and Bengkulu Province

e. Palembang Embarkation is Rp48,005,008.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from South Sumatra Province and Bangka Belitung Province

f. Jakarta (Pondok Gede) Embarkation is Rp51,338,008.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from DKI Jakarta Province, Banten Province, and Lampung Province;

g. Embarkation Jakarta (Bekasi) amounting to Rp51,338,008.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from some provinces in West Java (Depok City, Bekasi City, Bekasi Regency, Karawang Regency, Sukabumi City, Sukabumi Regency, Bogor City, Bogor Regency, Bandung City, Bandung Regency, West Bandung Regency, Cimahi City, Garut Regency, Tasikmalaya Regency, Tasikmalaya City, Ciamis Regency, Banjar City, Pangandaran Regency, Purwakarta Regency, and Cianjur Regency)

h. Solo Embarkation is Rp49,893,981.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from Central Java and Yogyakarta Province

i. Surabaya Embarkation is Rp55,928,458.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from East Java Province, Bali Province, and East Nusa Tenggara Province

j. Banjarmasin Embarkation is Rp50,753,057.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from South Kalimantan Province and Central Kalimantan Province

k. Balikpapan Embarkation is Rp50,792,201.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from East Kalimantan Province, North Kalimantan Province, Central Sulawesi Province, and North Sulawesi Province

l. Lombok Embarkation is Rp51,268,349.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from West Nusa Tenggara Province

m. Makassar Embarkation is Rp52,182,703.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from South Sulawesi Province, Southeast Sulawesi Province, West Sulawesi Province, Gorontalo Province, Maluku Province, North Maluku Province, Papua Province, and West Papua Province

n. Kertajati Embarkation is Rp52,837,858.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from some areas in West Java Province (Cirebon Regency, Cirebon City, Majalengka Regency, Indramayu Regency, Kuningan Regency, Subang Regency, and Sumedang Regency)

Bipih Amount for Regional Hajj Officers and KBIHU Guides

This Bipih PHD and KBIHU are used for flight costs; accommodation; consumption; transportation; services in Arafah, Mudzalifah, and Mina; protection; services at embarkation or debarkation;

Then immigration services; insurance premiums and other protections; travel documents; living costs; guidance for Hajj pilgrims in the homeland and Saudi Arabia; public services in the country and Saudi Arabia; and BPIH management.

The following are the amounts of Bipih PHD and KBIHU:

a.Embarkation Aceh amounting to Rp84,602,294.26, for Aceh Province

b.Embarkation Medan amounting to Rp85,439,589.26 for North Sumatra Province

c.Embarkation Batam amounting to Rp87,667,245.26 for Riau Province, Riau Islands, West Kalimantan, and Jambi Province

d.Embarkation Padang amounting to Rp86,282,787.26 for West Sumatra Province and Bengkulu Province

e.Embarkation Palembang amounting to Rp88,242,945.26 for South Sumatra Province and Bangka Belitung Province; 

f.Embarkation Jakarta (Pondok Gede) amounting to Rp91,575,945.26 for DKI Jakarta Province, Banten Province, and Lampung Province;

g. Compared to the cost incurred by regular hajj pilgrims, the Bipih amount for PHD and KBIHU is Rp40 million higher.
