The man received a wedding invitation that will take place in Rawang, Malaysia. He said he was asked to pay according to the number of people attending.

“If I bring my wife and 2 children, I have to pay 3 million rupiahs,” he said.

When opening the red invitation, there is a statement that the cost for attending the invitation is Rp845,000.

The guests can also make online banking transfers and e-wallets if they don't want to bother with cash.

As for guests who pay in cash, they will be given a receipt and put into a red box for confirmation by the reception staff.

“If I give less, people are not satisfied. If I give more, I will go bankrupt. There is no coercion here, just come if you can. I hope the host will give me a receipt after I pay,” he said.

The post caught the attention of netizens. They argue that if you invite guests to a wedding, you must provide free food.

Although no gifts are given. The bride and groom are also seen to profit from every person who comes.
