Empty Class Magic School Becomes a Hotel, Here's the Appearance

Dream - Nama Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 4 Malang went viral in 2020. This school innovated by utilizing empty classrooms as hotel rooms.

The school even collaborated with a hotel booking platform, RedDoorz. According to various sources, the hotel at SMK has been established since 2018. The hotel rooms are also used as laboratories for students majoring in Hospitality.

Initially, these hotel rooms were intended for invited guests, but they have now turned into a commercial concept called edu house, in collaboration with the vendor providing affordable hotel accommodation, Airy room.

A netizen with the account @nurinwaskita recently stayed at the hotel when visiting Malang City.

In a video reposted on Instagram by @dekorasi_rumah_idaman, the appearance in front of the school is also different from usual. At the main gate of the school, there is a red signboard with the word Red Doorz.

Entering inside, there is a spacious hotel lobby and receptionist. To reach the rooms, the school hotel even provides a three-floor elevator, despite its small size.

Just like any commercial hotel, the hotel rooms are equipped with beds. Inside the rooms, there are also LED TVs, bathrooms with showers, and other amenities.

The school atmosphere here is very strong, from the classroom corridors to the unused desks. In addition to staying, this woman also said she could see the school activities from the hotel balcony.
