Experienced Makeup Artist Hired for 32 Years, Bride Disappointed After Spending 25 Million on Failed Makeup: 'Don't Teach Me Patience'

Dream - Every bride wants to look beautiful on their wedding day. Unfortunately, choosing a Makeup Artist (MUA) who can create the desired makeup is not easy.

Most brides believe that paying a high fee to an MUA will satisfy their desires. However, the cost of an MUA's services does not always match the results. 

That's what happened to a TikToker who goes by the name Ghaziyah. She was very disappointed with the makeup she had for her wedding a year ago.

"Innallaha Ma Ashobirin: Allah is with those who are patient, 🥰. Don't teach me patience, I once paid 25 million for wedding makeup, and the result is 🙂," wrote the owner of the TikTok account @ghaziyah_n.

In the 30-second video, Ghaziyah showed moments from her wedding held in a fairly large building.

She then showed the makeup done by the hired MUA. But Ghaziyah was very disappointed with the result of the makeup.

The fashion model and accessories she wore looked like a bride from the 90s, or in other words, old-fashioned.

But what she focused on was the makeup result that was far from her expectations.

"I requested a simple and soft makeup, but why did it turn out to be 'sofo iki (who is this)?'," Ghaziyah said, seemingly laughing at herself.

The bridal makeup Ghaziyah wore was too simple and soft. It made her look like an old-fashioned bride.

Her eyebrows looked big like Shin Chan's. Her makeup was not flawless or glowing like modern bridal makeup in general.

In the video, Ghaziyah's facial skin looked rough. Her eye makeup also looked messy and unattractive.

However, she had to appear for hours in front of the invited guests who would surely scrutinize her makeup and bridal gown.

Moreover, at her wedding reception, she invited 1,500 guests, and the food was prepared for 2,500 people.

"I have to stay happy and cute in front of many people 🥰," she recalled to comfort her disappointed heart at that time.

Ghaziyah then told the background story of the disappointing makeup artist.

"My makeup artist is over 50 years old, and her experience is undeniable.

"She started her career at the age of 18 or so 🙂," she said.

Ghaziyah herself used the services of the elderly makeup artist because she received recommendations from people around her.

Supposedly, the makeup artist has become a favorite of brides from the TNI and Polri families.

"I was recommended to use her services because she often does makeup for TNI and Polri weddings.

"Instead of wanting to look simple, but now I have to look like...," Ghaziyah said, unable to continue her words due to her disappointment.
