Grand Max Laris Jelang Lebaran, Penjualan Daihatsu Kuartal I 2023 `Ngegas` 22.6%

Dream - Automotive company PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) reported an increase in car sales in the first quarter of 2023. During the period of January-March 2023, Daihatsu sold vehicles with an increase of 22.6 percent compared to the same period in 2022.

Marketing Director and Director of Corporate Planning & Communication Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) Sri Agung Handayani, explained that the sales achievement reached 57,567 units, higher than the same period last year which was only around 46,000 units.

"From January to March, Daihatsu sales reached 57,567 units. Compared to last year, it increased by 22.6 percent," said Sri Agung during the iftar event with ADM in Jakarta, Thursday, April 6, 2023.

If calculated on a retail basis, Daihatsu sales in March reached 18,500 units.

Sri Agung added that the sales contribution of Daihatsu cars is dominated by three models, namely Sigra, Gran Max Pick Up, and Xenia. According to her, Grand Max is still a favorite for logistics sector needs.

"Sigra still dominates. For Grand Max, the demand is always good. Maybe for support towards Eid, usually for logistics transportation and others," said Agung.

In addition, the All New Daihatsu Ayla also contributes significantly to sales. However, she did not provide detailed figures on its achievement.

"The 1,200 cc model still dominates the sales of the All New Daihatsu Ayla. Usually, after the launch, the highest model is often the most sought after," she said.
