Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked, 'Can you feed sixty poor people?' The man also answered, 'No.' Abu Hurairah said, at that time, someone gave a container of dates to the Prophet (peace be upon him)."

Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'Where is the man who asked the question?' The man replied, 'Here I am.'

Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'Take it and give it in charity.' The man said, 'Shall I give it to someone who is poorer than me, O Messenger of Allah? By Allah, there is no one in the east or west of Madinah who is poorer than my family.' The Prophet (peace be upon him) then smiled, showing his canine teeth.
